Cheng Xiaoshi Animation Teases Season 2 with Early Link Click – Get Ready for the Thrill

Studio LAN recently revealed a teaser of the highly anticipated sequel to their 2021 donghua Link Click, with a video depicting the early stages of the animation process. Showing some crude line work of the main character Cheng Xiaoshi, the preview shows him sitting and then being tapped on the shoulder, followed by him standing up and zipping his jacket. Fans anticipate the return of the series in 2023, with this sneak peek offering a window into the progress of its production.

Fans of Link Click Are Excited for Season 2

Fans of the show are excitedly waiting to find out what happened to the character who was left in a precarious situation at the end of season 1, with their life hanging in the balance. The trailer for the next installment did not show them, prompting many to speculate on their fate. The series will bring clarity to this plot point when it resumes and fans will be able to learn more about the future of the donghua.

The series premiered in April 2021 as a brand-new donghua, with no source material. It was quickly applauded and became renowned for its smooth animation, creative writing, and sci-fi elements, along with its characters, structure, and ideas. This is thought to be the cause of its success, as evidenced by its multiple new projects, such as The Daily Life in Nighttime chibi-style spinoff, and even a potential live-action adaptation.
